EA Website gives error message "Failed to create new session!"

I tried to sign on again and I am still getting this message. I also asked others in our league to try and they got the same message. Is anyone else having the same problem on ea's website?

I just messaged them on facebook and gave them a screenshot. They are letting the webteam know about the problem.

kwilliam - which Facebook page did you send them a message on? Wouldn't hurt for others to send them a similar message so they know how important this issue is!

Same error. Using Firefox 60.0.0 (Up-to-date)

I rarely log in there, but OF COURSE when I'm trying something new that needs it, it's down.

I've used both IE and Chrome (latest versions) and same thing. Seems like it is on EA's end. Hopefully it will get resolved soon.

I think it was the EA Help one. I'm also trying on the help.ea.com. Their agent is seeing the same problem when they try. I think if everyone hit them up with the problem, they might discover people still play it.

Thanks for waiting! The specialist is still checking it out, but has confirmed this appears to be an issue on our end. We'll see if we can put in a support ticket to have that back up soon. In the meantime, check back to the website regularly to see when the service is restored. It's for an older game ,so we probably won't have any announcements on it.


We will wait and see. Hopefully they will bring this back. I'm in the middle of the offseason, and being able to do most of it from a pc or phone is extremely useful and cuts the time down to a few days.

I also chatted with an EA representative. He said 'we are aware of the issue and currently trying to resolve the problem'.

I then asked "how long before this is fixed" and he said "within a day". I'm not going to hold my breath on the "within a day" part but I'm just glad they are fixing it and not going to shut the site down permanently.

As someone said above, the off-season steps go by 10x faster with the website than if you didn't have that.

I messaged support on Facebook (at EAHelpHub) and they responded pretty quickly that they also saw the issue and would investigate. They also acted like it was the first they had heard of it, even though I linked this post. Please report it more on that site to make sure it gets visibility!

I reported it as a bug on the EA website just now. I hope this gets resolved soon!

I think the multiple reports might help get this resolved. I don't know how many Online dynasties are still on this site. Maybe if the word got spread on the platform that the online dynasties are used on such as groupme/facebook/or something else and got a lot more reports to ea that could get their attention. Maybe a few hundred or more reports of the problem should get their attention. I play this on the ps3, I am guessing this also a xbox problem being we don't get to the point where we pick the platform(ps3/xbox).

My commissioner called EA Tuesday morning and was told that the website is no longer being supported..


Time will tell if this is true.

Got on a chat with ea help and was told they are working to fix the ea dynasty site and will communicate my concerns to the developers
