I'm currently in year 3 with FIU as OC so far Into year 3 I decided to slow sim the defense it's a much different feeling when you get back on the field

Our last game we faced our rival FAU we escaped with a 21-14 win after my SR SS picked off the pass in the endzone with a minute left! Wild win

Overall I'm enjoying Varsity sliders don't plan on moving up anytime soon

Also using FIU as OC and only playing offensive snaps. Are you able to get HC/OC offers from other schools as the years progress?

Man, year 3 at Boise St. has been tough, lost to undefeated #8 Fresno state, now 4-4 on season in Pac 12. AJV. Man, this game is fun, and this was the first game on the new ps5 Pro. Wow, it's smooth and looks great.

Re: Armor & Sword's CFB 25 Custom Dynasty Mode Sliders

I apologize if this is answered somewhere. Does anyone know their average real life game length using the time settings here? I've been mostly playing 7 minutes no accelerated clock since the game released.

I played a game on the newest version of the Varsity sliders in my New Mexico Dynasty last night. New Mexico vs San Diego State.

Here are some observations:

- I felt like running lanes and blocking were much better on both sides.

- I saw some passes that would ordinarily be auto completions on default AA either sail over a receivers head or the receiver just drop or miss the ball.

- More penalties. It wasn't overwhelming but enough in key situations in the game and for both the CPU and USER. A lot of times on default AA there will be a holding call triggered and it's ALWAYS on me. There was a situation in the game last night where I had a holding call followed by an illegal block in the back call. Things didn't look good and then the CPU got called for defensive pass interference which saved the drive. I can't remember the last time I have seen a DPI so that was cool.

- I use placement and accuracy passing. I'm not sure if it's the best for this set or not because most of the time I had to let off the button fast or it would sail over my receiver's head. It doesn't bother me really because my QB sucks and I would be interested to see it with a better QB.

- The CPU returned a punt on me for a TD. I haven't seen one of those in a while.

- Speed seemed to matter. Safeties running down hill were quick to stop plays in the flats. On the other hand, I was able to run away from a DB in the open field whereas that's become rare on default AA.

- I saw a few dropped possible interceptions. In a game where everyone seems like a ball hawk, I thought this was refreshing to see.

Overall a really good experience and I appreciate your work putting these together! I'll continue to play on in my Dynasty with them. They are Varsity sliders but it's definitely not a varsity skill level experience. This kind of supports my thoughts that a lot of things about Varsity just feel better in this game and it's a cool idea to tune that mode. Most sets I see are people using Heisman as a base and for me that's not very appealing because the game has some real annoyances on that difficulty.

The game I played last night was back and forth. I went down 14-0, stormed back in the game, had a double digit lead in the 4th that got erased by big plays and then I couldn't run the ball when it counted most and the CPU returned a punt for a touchdown that ultimately won them the game. I couldn't get down the field with about 40 seconds left.

Thanks again for your work. The game was starting to get stale for me so I'm finally exploring sliders and this felt way different than the base game.

Re: Armor & Sword's CFB 25 Custom Dynasty Mode Sliders

Had an amazing game last night with Iowa vs Iowa State and won 25-23 but it went several OT's.

Ran the ball very well until the 4th quarter and then Iowa State was just stuffing me. In OT, the computer missed a 42-yard FG, and I missed a 37-yard FG. There was a 12-mph wind blowing to the upper left in the meter and it def affected the kicks and both sailed wide of the goal posts. Ended up coming down to the second round of 2-point conversions and I won on a slant for the score.

Very tense game and I had a blast. Things felt very real for sure!

Is / Are the new Varsity sliders the ones still on Page 1, or is there a different set within this long thread??

The ones I'm trying are on the main page but dated 10/22/2024.

I think there's three sets total that I see

Original Varsity
Original AA

Updated Varsity in October.
