Yeah I’m not sure what’s going on with AA at the moment. I’m playing on basically default AA and the CPU, especially on offense, is totally non existent. 8 games into my first year at ECU, so basically no coaching skills, and I’m only giving up a measly 14 points a game. And the CPU basically only scores if they hit a long pass over the top of the defense, they can’t sustain a drive to save their life. Last game, against FAU, they had a whopping 42 yards of offense mid way through the 4th and had been shutout on offense (scored once on a blocked punt). I really don’t know what happened to this game, it was so good at launch, the game was open and fun like college football should be. Seems like they patched it to death like EA does with most game. Maybe I need to try the Varsity set again but it just wasn’t difficult enough for me in the past.

I have been wondering a bit about the difficulty of AA recently too although I’m in yr 6 and my Illinois roster is pretty stacked (up to 90OVR). We’ve been dominant in most games (currrently 9-0 record) and really shutting opponents down especially on the ground but I’m not sure if it’s just because we have such a good defense and playing from in front in most games.

I may try out starting a fresh save on the side to see if it feels the same. I too though did try the Varsity set in the past a couple times and it didn’t seem difficult enough for me either

I think my sub setting for QB is this as a way to make sure they play unless injured. Though I haven't looked and it may be 100/1? The idea being the better QB plays all the time and gets more opportunities.

I'm not understanding why this would have any affect in making the QB play smarter? What is your theory?

400 plus hours for me as well. The game has been magnificent. I am on hiatus now with both CFB and Madden 25 (until Percussions 1992 is out as well as Playmakers 90's all time set).

I am looking forward to CFB 26 and them adding back in some things they simply were unable to for the rebirth (looking at you Formation Subs, trophy room). I too hope they work on injuries being a little longer term and keep fine tuning penalties to be a wide variety. They completely nerfed facemask after the first update post launch.

Overall though this is the best console football game I have ever played. Bar none.

I am glad so many enjoyed the slider sets.

Could I please ask for your guys help with something?

Me and my friend try and play this game cooperatively. But the passing mechanics with placement and power are completely different when you throw to a user player as opposed to a CPU.

Does anyone else play co-op? If so what passing mechanic do you use and does it work?

Just curious about a couple of things. I am using Average Joe Varsity sliders. They have always worked great. I haven't played the game in quite a while. Well, I think since the middle of October according to the pics on my phone. My SDSU dynasty team totally shut down a 6-1 UNLV team. As a matter of fact, it was the best defense my team ever carried onto the field.

I started a new dynasty with Auburn and moved them to the Sun Belt. Our first out of conference game was against Akron. I needed an easy team to start out with. I have never experienced the crazy things that happened in this game. I was about to toss a controller through the wall. We led 28-9 at the half. They outscored us 24-10 in the second half. We intercepted a pass in the end zone, but not before they moved the ball down the field with ease. Final score: 38-33.

Does any sliders need to be adjusted? Their QB threw for 75%. I am using the same ones I used as before. Has anyone else experienced a big change over the last couple of months?
