Definitely. I know face mask needs to go up. I wish I could get DPI to get called more often, but that seems to be an impossible task. I get like 3 or 4 a season at most despite it being at 95.

I'm not tracking stuff as detailed this go around with this set, but I think this broad view of some of the basic stats provides a good enough look into it all to see what areas need some tweaking. Penalties and fumbles are probably the two most glaring areas at this point, imo.

Penalties are a tough one since we mostly get offensive penalties called in this game, and holding calls can really kill CPU offensive drives, which can have unintended consequences.

Anyways, I like the way the new set is playing!

Game Recap: Week 1 - Kentucky vs. Southern Miss

Final Score: Kentucky 45, Southern Miss 26

Jon Sumrall’s debut as Kentucky’s head coach kicked off with a dominant 45-26 win over Southern Miss. Kentucky controlled the game from start to finish, with two late scores by Southern Miss making the final margin look closer than it was.

The Wildcats thrived in all three phases. Sophomore returner Brandon White took a punt to the house, and Kentucky’s defense added two pick-sixes to keep the Golden Eagles at bay. Aside from two drives, Kentucky’s defense locked down Southern Miss and showed the intensity Sumrall has instilled in this team.

True freshman QB Cutter Boley went 16-of-22, tossing 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. The run game added 107 yards on 20 carries, setting a solid base as the Wildcats gear up for an SEC opener against South Carolina.

Game Stats:
- Score: Kentucky 45, Southern Miss 26
- Passing: Cutter Boley - 16/22, 1 TD, 2 INT
- Rushing (Team): 20 carries, 107 yards
- Defensive/Special Teams TDs: 2 pick-sixes, 1 punt return touchdown (Brandon White)

With momentum building, Coach Sumrall and the Wildcats are ready to make noise in the SEC!

This game was played on most recent set.

Re: canes21 College Football 25 Sliders

Kicked off my 5th season at FSU.

Playing in the AFLAC Kick Off Game (or something similar) in Atlanta: #2 FSU vs #17 Tennessee.

Final: 31-28, UT

*sigh*

Another inauspicious start. Whenever I start a season highly ranked, I always seem to lose the first game. To be fair, I'm rated 90 overall and Tennesee is 91, so dead heat match up. And to be fair, it was a really fun game. Went down to the wire.

My biggest concerns are my WR number of drops. My top 2 WRs are rated 92 and 91, and each had at least 3 drops, not to mention my other WRs in the upper 80s all had a drop or two as well. I think as a team we had nearly 10.

Other concern was my highly rated defense could do NOTHING against their QB. He went 26-28 for 388 yards and 3 TDs. *sigh* Mixed coverages, blitzes, Dime Zone, Zone blitz, didn't matter.

I simmed my next 2 games (against FCS and low tier opponents), so I'm 2-1 and ranked #8 right now, but still have a baaaad taste in my mouth.
Next up is #25 Pitt coming to Doak so we'll see if I can right the ship. The week after is a trip to #1 Clemson.

Finally getting back into it again after a busy week, think the patch did something wild to revamped lmao first game I couldn’t throw a pass that was blue without it being a lob. Same thing for practice mode. Even if red is slightly accurate the odds of a WR dropping it are >60% I’d say.

Messed around with placement and think I’m gonna make the switch finally. I like the natural overthrows while still being able to actually make accurate throws that have a bit of oomph (unlike revamped and classic on lower ACC values)

Re: canes21 College Football 25 Sliders

Just played my first game since my disappointment against Tennessee to open the season.

#25 Pitt rolled into town against my #6 ranked FSU Noles.

Final Score: 22-17, FSU

Not exactly the resounding win I was hoping for. It was 10-2 (Yes 2, I got a safety) after the 1st quarter, and then 17-8 towards the end of the first half before I got a pick and drove for my first TD to make it 17-16 going into Halftime.
I scored quickly in the 3rd quarter but failed the 2pt conversion. The rest of the game was a defensive struggle, and I held on for the win.

My offensive woes continued, really hard to move the ball through the air, CPU defenders are like magnets to all my WRs, and the WRs cannot seemingly hang on to much of anything.
Compared to my guys when playing zone on a passing play, where there's always seemingly 5 yards between the defender and the WR whenever the CPU throws.

I'll see how we hold up going into #1 Clemson tonight. Should be a fun one.

Re: canes21 College Football 25 Sliders

Two more games

I must be the worst passer in the world in this game. NMSU game was especially frustrating with 8 drops and 2 INTs where guys got held up by defenders.

Got to win 2 of 3 to guarantee bowl eligibility and I’m not sure I can do it with the state of my passing game. Does anyone here stream with these sliders? Would like to see where I’m missing on the passing game

I’m actually at a boiling point with this game about this. It’s so frustrating that there is no sense of accomplishment on defense as no matter what the CPU finds everything open against my 90 ovr defense. Then on my side all I can throw are drags as everything else gets covered.
