Varsity sliders?

I have been playing on All American using Armors sliders for the most part. Holy cow this game is so fast. I keep throwing picks and honestly can't make my reads because of the speed of the game. I absolutely love this and do feel it better replicates the speed of the game in real life.

HOWEVER....I am losing to Toledo at home in my Peyton Manning Tennessee HC dynasty. I'm dropping down to varsity and will probably be messing with sliders at some point on this difficulty. Anyone else as terrible at the game as I am and need varsity difficulty? [emoji1787]

To be honest, I've been impressed with Varsity so far. I didn't think it would provide a decent challenge, but I was wrong. I am using Playmakers Varisty sliders and I struggled a while with Georgia State at Neyland with the Vols (go figure GSU would give the Vols fits) At least this time the Vols prevail! I ended up winning 30-10 but it was 17-10 deep into the game for the longest until I pulled away.

Check out playmakers' sliders. He is one of the og's of ncaa sliders.

He is making it harder on Varsity. I'm playing default Varsity and it's not easy lol. For now I've succumbed to CPU vs CPU for my dynasty until I can get better playing this game. Losing to Toledo at home as Tennessee should not happen [emoji23]

On Default varsity you can reduce the CPU int slider down to 25 that should help to open up your passing game until you get used to new passing mechanics

I played a little bit of Varsity today out of curiosity. It definitely presents a nice challenge--more challenging than any previous EA football game on that difficulty level.

I feel you man. I play on Varsity. Last night I was LSU playing Memphis (I use the random wheel to pick matchups currently), and I STRUGGLED with Memphis. Even giving up a 98 yard run up the middle.

I ended up pulling it out with a last second deep pass for a touchdown, but LSU would have spanked Memphis.

I'm going to start playing with the sliders as well.

What I've done in years past (when I was coming back from not playing football games for a while) is find a set you like the gameplay of and just drop the INT slider to a point where you feel like it's manageable to YOU.

As you get more comfortable in reading coverages and not throwing into triple coverage all the time keep bumping the slider up until it gets closer to what the set has / as high as you feel comfortable.

One thing that makes me give up playing Madden or NCAA faster than anything else is trying to force myself into the confines of a slider set when my skillset isn't comparable at that time.

I think it is a very underrated level. You can tweak it to be even more difficult and there's not much difference between varsity and AA difficulty after tweaks.

Once I toned down the USER offense sliders both levels presents a good challenge where I can't win every game.

I thought it would be an indictment on my manhood to drop to varsity (I dominated Heisman by the end of NCAA 14). But I will hate this game if I keep banging my head against the wall using AA. Almost every third down pass I throw is picked off. I just threw 7 with Northwestern against Eastern Michigan.

Switching to varsity and hoping for some good sliders.

One day if I stop my addiction for CPU vs CPU games I will be loading up your varsity set and giving it a real go.

Hey there and sorry if its already been asked...but I looked for Playmakers Varsity sliders and couldnt find it (on Xbox). Am I just missing it or PS only? In any case, thanks so much for all your awesome work through the years!
