In Dynasty mode, can the CPU hire and fire coaches in non-player controlled teams ?

I believe the computer does not keep track of coaching records, etc . . . for the non-user coaches. They're just called "OSU coach" or whatever and their record resets every year, so there's no need to fire/hire between CPU teams.
