Ncaa 2006 info available March 14-16!!!!!!!

(this thread was also posted in the madden forum)....it seems that madden mania, madden nation, and madden planet have all received invites to attend a community day at ea in orlando from march 14-16th to play (yes, play!!) madden and ncaa 2006... i wonder if steve or anyone else here at os has received an invite... anyways, its nice to see that ea is not going to make us wait 3 months to e3 for all the info... i'm sure they'll save some info for e3, but at least we'll get an appetizer next month!!
i don't ever remember ea doing a community day before e3... i think that now that they have secured the nfl license, they are no longer worried about competition from sega, thus making them feel comfortable to go ahead and give us some info early---- FINE WITH ME... if you guys have any questions that you want asked next month, you can go to madden mania, madden planet, or madden nation... all 3 sites have threads up asking for madden/ncaa ballers to post questions they want answered next month at ea headquarters.. just think, in less than a month we will have at least some info on both madden and ncaa 2006!!!

Why does EA do this to us?

I mean seriously. Will they PLEASE rewrite the 3D engine that drives their games this year. It's been 3 years. I really really love NCAA series, they've made it one of the most exciting releases each and every year.

But I'm really down on EA because the models STILL look like michelin men, and the colors always look really washed out. Blue is always some shade of perriwinkle, etc.

Crisp bold colors + sharp looking models + EA gameplay refinements = Best College game ever.

Washed out colors + bloated looking models + EA gameplay refinements = lame

Just as long as the Volleyball deflection programmer has been poisoned, shot, hung, and impaled I'll be happy.

Also...I do agree...it's time to "update" the game. Seeing the same intros that we saw 3 years ago is pretty sad.

I sure hope they address the drop glitch and the slow loading time. Those things ruined the game for me last year. Create a sign never worked as well.
