i had been a member or visited over there forever - 5 years maybe? I used to go here, there and NCAA Strategies (with DaBirk) all the time for my NCAA fix back in the day. I might say even as far back as 98...

NCAA Strategies was great. Even though I just lurked I really miss that site. There was a lot of good info there and most importantly there were very few bouts of trolling and fanboyism.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

yeah that was a good place. one of the first of its kind. every once and a while i'll see a name from there on a message board talking NCAA or even just college football in general. I just remember there being so many Michigan, FSU and Nebraska fans on that board.

I was there before I came here. I got the link to OS from a thread on MM and, well, I never looked back. There were some guys on there that I liked, but as far as the site and community as a whole goes, it was lacking something OS clearly has. I just felt more at home here and the longer I post here, the more juvenile MM seems to me.

those moderators can suck it. Didnt they take like 50 questions compiled from people to tiburon to get answered, they then comeback and don't say anything except "we are bound by ea for what we can talk about" and that was the end of it!!!!! Same with maddennation.com which does a weekly radio show. 2 weekds ago was them talking about going to tiburon and being excited, this weeks (after the visit) didnt even mention anything. I dont know if these guys were lying like a moderator here thought or what, but they need to either comment on the situation and stop avoiding questions or admit they were lying. Those websites suck for everything except maybe accessing the latest madden/ncaa info(they are definantly not community oriented forums like os) which theyve proven they arent the best source on. So dont take it personal.
