New Neck Rolls...

I was just thinking..no one in the NFL or college ranks really uses that old school neck roll anymore, everyone has the new "ironing board" looking ones.

Wonder why EA hasn't changed those yet?

That would be a nice little equipment addition this season.

What ever happened to the casts that they were touting a few years ago? I seem to recall some screenshots for the game in development, but can't remember what year (2002 maybe?) Anyway, when a player would break his arm or wrist he could wear a cast and be back a couple of games later in some instances.

I know I saw some screenshots of these somewhere.

i dont remember ever seeing these! that would be cool though. did it show the cast with the player in the game or on the sideline?

I thought that was only in Madden? The player would play with a cast on his arm or a knee brace on his leg, depending on the injury.

The screenshots that I remember were of the arm casts, and the one that sticks out in my mind was in a game between two of the classic teams. I know there were no facemasks on the helmets...

Anyway, if that's a feature of Madden, then that backs up my statement most likely. There has been several things over the years that have been offered as big tiem features, but when the game is released, they are nowhere to be found.
