Re: New NCAA 2006 preview and developer interview on Gamespot

Yeah... I thought 40 to 50 seemed a bit much... If i had to take 40 carries a game, yet alone 50... I think I would collapse!

Hershel Walker averaged 30.1 Carries per game for his 3 years at Georgia...

He has the SEC record for Most Carries Per Game in one season (35.0)

Most Carries per game in a season: Ed Marinaro (39.6)

Most Carries per game in a career: Ed Marinaro (34.0)

Most Carries in a single game: Tony Sands (58)

...

So how a Rusher should sustain 40 to 50 carries per game is ludicrous!

Videogame producers, and those that interview them, should learn not to engage in the use of excessive hyperbole. They should know by now that everything they say is going to be taken literally by a segment of their audience and either praised or criticized in the same extreme hyperbolic fashion.

In other words I'm sure he doesn't really mean 40 or 50 carries. Sheesh.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

jesus christ, enough is enough. Some of you ****ers would bitch and moan if 27 carries would make a guy develop into an "impact guy. I'm sure you'd then come out with some obscure stat saying that it was clearly 3 or 4 too many carries and EA sucks, and the game is unrealistic. Just enjoy the damn thing. Better yet, play the ****ing thing one time before burying it in the sea of criticism that has become these forums. Bottom line, I doubt the guy REALLY meant 40-50 carries. Substitute heavy worload...there feel better? MAybe, just maybe...potential has something to do with it as well. LEt's see what E3 brings.

up next....the pilons are too small and shaded a slightly darker orange....discuss.

The right analog juke seems like you have total control of the football players that are capable of making moves like this. Looks fun!
No offense but he looked like he broke his back or somethin.
