I had low expectations but after reading that I am feeling the hype once again. I am so glad they added moer formations and the ability to send any player in motion. That was one of the things I was hoping for them to fix. Now if they can just fix some of the offensive line blocking issues that result in the "mario running".

Yeah the game is sounding much better. It looks like EA also paid attention to detail as far as stadiums and team playbooks go. I was happy to hear that they finally have Hawaii's playbook set with all four receiver sets.

Very good write up. I can now say with confidence that my cautious optimism regarding NCAA has turned into anticipation. As far as Madden goes, that's another story, but I'm pleased with the effort that EA seems to have put into this game. Props for showing a pic of the Doak.

2 of my 3 biggest pet peeves with the game seem to have been addressed: run blocking (even though I'd like to see zone blocking fully functional for 07) & generic playbooks. If there's no more single coverage turning into quadruple coverage because of DBs & LBs leaving their assignments to converge on the intended WR, I'll be ecstatic.
