NCAA 06 Spring Training feature -- My experience at E3

Ugh, I was hoping this was going to be implemented into the dynasty mode. Hopefully you missed it or something and it is.

That's what I'm hoping. They know what they are doing. When I first heard about the drills in race for the heisman I said to myself " I bet they won't put in the offseason of dynasty mode until NCAA 07". I remember being pissed when they did that with Madden 03 also. People have been asking for some spring practice/drills, I've read wishlist from various sites, of some sort so I don't believe EA is trying to test it out. If they haven't put in the offseason this year it will be in their next year because they planned it that way (Getting pissed thinking about that idea) or because people will ask for it.

As of now I believe the spring drills are only implemented for Race for the Heisman mode to decide your player's stats. Would've been cool to have it in dynasty mode too.

actually, considering that in ncaa the player progression is based on your training points plus the potential of the player...having a minicamp that improves player ratings based on the performance of the user does not fit it with ncaa's overall scheme...

unless u can spend some of ur budget on training camp drills...or if u have a real succesful program, the AD pays for the guy to go to a camp...i dunno wish ful thinking

This would be a cool feature for recruiting. Be able to see the way a recruit plays or something and maybe improve their ratings.

What about having a few scrimmages in the spring and have players progress that way. What about having a spring game after the scrimmages.
