How do you change the direction of a run without calling a "flip audible"?

Yeah, it doesn't work for shotgun and a few of the weak and strong I plays (I know weak tackle can not be flipped) but I'd reckon 85-90% of the plays can be flipped.

It works on most run plays. Press TRIANGLE, then LEFT or RIGHT on d-pad to change direction of run w/o flipping play. Do you hear an echo in here?

almost every play can be flipped except plays in shotgun and split pro formations. also, everybody has to be set in order for the play to be flipped, if anybody is running in motion, it won't work.

I think everyone is forgetting that he's playing 2004 not 2005. It doesn't work for 2004. He said he assumed it has always been in the game but it's not working for 2004.

Yea, it's true.

I read a post awhile ago stating the ability to flip via Triangle + D-pad had been in the series for years, and was wondering why it wasn't working in 2004.
