I never said it was epic. I said I like 2004 better than 2006.

The O-Line blocking may not have LOOKED as good as it does now....but the overall "sim" of it was darn near perfect. The whole sim was just right.

Sounds like 06 still has the super DB's where no receiver is ever open. And only haveing 2 seconds to pass sure doesnt sound like a lot of fun. I'm going to pick it up but it will be on ebay within days if its as frustrating as some are saying.

I agree that 04 was the bomb. They never should have changed that engine, just tweaked it. It was nearly pefect as it was. That's still my football game of choice. The only gameplay flaw in that game was that you couldn't run a sweep or toss.

definitely... the only reason people are comparing 06 to 04 is because in 04 the game was downright fun to play.. whereas last year the game to me at least felt "broken" .... now here for 2006 we get the best of 04 (gameplay speed and overall fun) along with the 06 dynasty extras(in season recruiting... etc..) do yourself a favor and buy ncaa 06.. you won't regret it
