2005? Forget that, I traded that in long ago. I thought you were talking about 2006!

Read the topic. We are not whining. We are inquiring.

Its not conveinant, or should be necessary to cahnge my XBOX dashboard for 4:3 for one game. The game is not true widescreen anyway.

You'd be asking too if when you ran offf tackle, the game dropped to 5 fps.

Hey Chicago, I guess you're from Chicago or Pitt. Sounds like you have the same cautious mindset about this. WHat kind of tv do you have? And how does 04 play on your widescreen if you have it. Ya know the strange thing is that 04 plays great on widescreen but I guess '05 was was the spittle that ran down '04's leg.

From Pittsburgh live in Chicago. I have a Panny 42" plasma. NCAA 2004 ran fine on the TV. It was when i got 2005 home did i get the rude awakening.

Every other game (including the gorgeous ESPN NFL2K5) runs fine with no issues.

What is interesting is how nice MVP 2005 looks. Surprised about that one.

All that is the same with me except the tv. I have a JVC 48" hdtv. I even paid 80 bones for the THQ certified Monster component cables for '05 last year. Wow, what a let down. On other games though, I would highly recommend spending some cash on hi def xbox equipment including cables.

I played about 2 games last night in 16:9 with my S-video connection and had no problems. The game was very smooth. If anything, it actually seemed to be too quick at times.

I'll try it tonight with my HD cables.

It is *not* unplayable. As Steve_OS said, it's mostly during cutscenes at *end* of play, only time it seems to affect actual gameplay much is on kick returns IMO. It's a gripe to be sure but not one that is all that important. I'm just not sure why EA can't catch these things in testing though..
