Well, I just joined. But I plan on sticking around a while, being that I love sports video games.

I play them year round, and according to the seasons, so if I'm not on the Football forums as much, I be at the Hockey forums, and then Baseball.

As a new member, I can say that OS is fairly cliquish--as all tight-knit communities tend to be. My first post was a thread I started regarding white facemasks and I was immediately flamed by Nivek (nothin' but love, man ). I suppose in retrospect I can understand his seeing my low post count and the nature of the thread and popping off, but this is after all a public forum to air opinions.

What I've found more than anything is that the "old timers" here are hardcore gameplay people, and if your comment/complaint is regarding anything else--especially graphics--you WILL get slayed. I've acually refrained from posting lately because of how immaturely some members respond to "complaints." Being 31, I probably expect more from EA's series and get frustrated more easily; nevertheless, I've always expressed myself calmly while complaining and have--I THINK--won over a few of the more impatient vets.

I'm actually itching to post a thread on whether or not other players are as downright frustrated with the passing game as I am, but being a "newby," I won't. It's too negative for my post count...

yea, i can't stand the negative noobs that complain about #92 on lsu's left testicle isn't big enough and what not, and the ones who in the first post talk about they got such and such game before it has come out suck too. i hate their guts, i hope everything bad in the world happens to them, and nobody else but them.

I don't care much either, I've been here long enough too, when I see someone new post somthing stupid, I remember there name and remember to just read right past there next post Anyway I don't always post things people like either, but that's what make you guy's love me....lol

Putting it this way is tolerable...the way you presented it at first was extremely eliteist. So there are a few extra people around, I've skipped a few pages of the stickies, and there were a lot of locked threads. At least there was always something new to read.

It only bothers me if they are rude or inconsiderate...

Times like this (football releases) I'll usually disappear for a bit until things settle down... I can put up with it for baseball, b-ball, soccer... anything but football games.
