I have a slim PS2, and I have experienced slowdown. The oddpart is...only in certain games. I've noticed slowdown is bad at the bigger stadiums when the crowd is going nuts. I think HFA is the culprit in causing the slowdown. When I've played against weaker teams with a less than impressive crowd, slowdown has not been a problem.

i have a 2-year old PS2 and even with screen shake at the big house (#10 HFA), there is no slowdown for me.

I have had some slowdown (probably 15 to 20 times a game). Bought my PS2 in 2001. I mainly notice the slowdown on kickoffs and on passes over the middle.

I play a lot with Texas Tech so I'm wondering if the 4 and 5 receiver sets (so much going on downfield) are causing part of the problem.
