How "easy" is Varsity level?

This is my first year owning NCAA and I've been getting my butt handed to me on AA level. I'm thinking of swallowing my pride and heading down to Varsity, until I get the hang of things. I'm just wondering if the gameplay is dumbed-down too much on the Varsity level. I definitely want a challenge when I play. What do you guys think of that level?

I played my first game on varsity on the RFTH so I could get used to the new controles. I ended up winning 70-7 but it was UTexas vs. LLU. It is very very easy to run on the middle. You could try going to varsity and adjusting the sliders to make it more of a challenge.

Re: How "easy" is Varsity level?

First game I played on Varsity was UGA versus Boise State, and ended up winning 75-14.

I'd say that was a bit too easy. Their 14 points came in the infancy of the game when I was trying to figure out controls. I then proceeded to completely blow them out.

Can't say it wasn't fun to do that though

Re: How "easy" is Varsity level?

Varsity isnt easy for me.

I play with MTSU, and upper level untalented team. Ya know, one of the better of the worst.

And get destroyed in my first two games. Bama stomped me - that was ok.

North Texas blew me off the field. I can handle losing to NT, happens all the time anyway. But Jamario Thomas, who probably doesnt weigh 200lbs, ran right over 300+lb DTs. NT ran for more than 450yds. I knew the play they were calling, called the right defense, had the guys in the right place, made contact, and they just blew through the defense, and there's no catching them when theyre gone.

Ive come to the conclusion that I just suck.

Which is weird, since ive been played maddens and NCAAs for about a decade now.

Im loving it though.
