Offensive Line=Nonexistant on offense

Has anyone else noticed how you basically have a split second to throw almost every single play? Damn near every pass play I barely even have time to release the ball before the D-line is in my face. I even have the human pass defense slider turned up to 99%. FYI, I'm playing on AA. Anyone else notice this?

It harkens back to the olden days where play action passes were 100% guaranteed sacks.

Me too. The CPU blitzing seems to be a lot more effective this year. That, or the offensive linemen are dumber...

Agreed. You pretty much only have time to check the primary receiver or dump it off to the RB or TE as a safety valve.

I am not certain yet...but..it seems if they bring the house and you don't have a big set and the RB blocking you will be killed...if you do have the right play called for a blitz it seems to work. It is too early for me to tell yet.

I am not seeing that at all. Now if they are bringing the house and you have 5-wide, of course you will not have blocking to handle all that. I have had time to get the ball downfield, as long as I have blocking. I will keep my TE or HB in to help with blocking if I see the other team bringing everyone.

I noticed that I really have to pay more attention to where my QB is in the pocket. In past versions you could take your eyes off the pocket and look at several receivers, knowing you would have time to just stand there. In this version I find that i have to look at the coverage before the snap and then glance at my WR's, for coverage, as I move the QB in and out of the pocket. I also have noticed that sometimes I have to move my QB so that my fullback or Halfback will engage the pass rusher.
