What is up with punting?

Has anyone else noticed that for some reason in this years version that a punt will never bounce backwards. Now I hardly ever punt but it would be helpful in case I need to pull that out of the bag. So do you have to have an impact punter to do so? Just a thought

Most punts dont bounce backward.

But I haven't really noticed this. Has it happened to u a lot near the endzone?

I think I have punted inside the 10 on half of my punts and i have had none of them bounce backwards. Now I realize in real life it happens sometimes around the endzone and sometimes not, but it also happens in the middle of the field on a possible bad punt

Are you guys sure you're aiming the arrow correctly. I have'nt tried but maybe if you point the arrow straight up then i might take a bounce backwards. But then again, you'll be losing about 20 yards doing so.

Re: What is up with punting?

Punt the ball more up wards than straight. In other words skiy punts have a greater chance of bouncing backwards. It you punt for lenght the ball tends to keep rolling.

I have had some (2 to 3) fall on the 5 yard line and die at the 1 yrd line.

If you point the arrow up just a touch more, this will give you a bit better chance. But like the guy above said, MOST punts DONT go backwards.
