Anybody block a Field Goal, XP, or Punt yet?

my friend blocked one of my extra points last year. it was just a fluke. my guard blocked the guy over his outside shoulder and the nose tacklewent his way straight in for the block. i've gotten a couple of punts this year. just don't overuse the punt block, if you call it all the time the computer will adjust, if you call it occasionally i've noticed the computer doesn't seem to notice. i mainly use it if i have him pinned inside his 5 or if he's past my 45. that way i'm either trying to score with it or not losing anything because there probably won't be a return anyway.

Just make sure the guy gets in untouched. If he even bumps the other guys you won't have a shot.

Actually, I blocked a extra point in NFL 2K1 against my friend. The thing is, it wasn't one where you turbo from the side or stack the middle with all your men, it was the guy all the way in the back coming down the middle of the line after it opened up and sending the ball like Mutombo in his prime!

Boy will I miss the NFL 2K this year .

Back them up to the 8 yard line, call All Out Block...2 guys break free, Darnell Hood blocks it, the balls pops straight up in the air and is recovered by Hood for a TD.

1st Kick block I can remember in at least of few years.

W00t! Finally got my first blocked punt since 2003! Playing with Bama against FIU in the last game of the regular season. First I punt the ball and down it inside their Ten. A few blitzes later I have them backed up to the five. I call an all out block, they adjust. The ball is snapped, my freshman standout FS Kevin Glover breaks through the line and blocks it! My backup fullback recovers for the TD.

Finally after so many simulated years of Special Teams drought, they finally come through for me.

Just blocked a punt, sort of an abberation though. Was playing Oregon and was winning 26-7 when with 4 seconds left in the game they decided to punt. I did full block and my CB came off the left end and blocked it and we picked it up for a score. They didn't move down their WRs in response to the full block, so maybe just a half-assed block. Anyway its nice to block one again since 2004.
