Bingo, it's easily Marcus Vick.

Re: Most OVERrated QB in NCAA 2006

Palmer is a good QB, but he screwed the Bengals, well they screwed themselves because they didnt know that Kitna was going to be that good. Jon Kitna was a decent QB in Seattle, and the Bengals should have gave him another year after the 2003-2004 season, but I guess Palmer was too expensive to be riding the bench.

I also think Marcus is a little overrated, more like a 82 or 83. But I have a feeling he will prove many of you wrong when he has a GOOD year at Tech. I know, I'm a tad biased, but many other writers are thinking the same.

Thanks,

He may very well prove us wrong this season, we're not disputing that. However, a lot of us feel that he should have to earn his NCAA rating. I also agree that his rating should be in the low 80's.

according to some of the passing stats that are generated in this game, i would have to say nearly every QB is overrated in this game..........

Kitna, as much as I like the man, has the arm strength of a high school quarterback. 60 yards is his absolute maximum. He had the best season of his career in 2003, and the Bengals only finished 8-8. In 2004 when Carson was injured (the last four games), Kitna came in and promptly lost his first two starts. He then led Cincy to a one point win over the hapless Eli-led Giants and a garbage win over Philly's backups.

Trust me, I've seen Kitna play since he was in Seattle, because I was stationed 30 miles away from Seattle during those years (99-01). I've seen him lose games because of his inability to make big plays and his consistent underthrowing of receivers. He's nowhere near the player Carson is going to be. Plus he's 32 years old. Carson was the right choice in that situation.

Palmer >>>>>> Kitna

As far as the passing stats are concerned...is it possible to change the length of Simmed Quarters? If so, maybe that would help.

Re: Most OVERrated QB in NCAA 2006

Vick got his rating because of his last name, simple as that.
