New Acidemic Prestige Thread

THe last thread got bogged down with a flame war about who schools is better or somthing stupid like that, but still no one has figured out how Acidemic prestige works

I doesnt seem to be affected by your school budgets in the ofseason

You cant look at students GPAs

does anyone have a definitave answer as to how to deal with this

I think it would be wrong to start another ACADEMIC prestige thread that was started by someone who can't spell 'academic.'

How about trying to answer the question instead of ragging on the guy?

As far as I can tell, academic prestige's only use is when you pitch it during recruiting. It might have an effect on your team discipline as well, but that's just a guess.

I can't prove this right now, but it might have to do with the total number of players you graduate each offseason. I have 2 dynasties - one with Rutgers and one with an "academic" school that I created. In 5 years with Rutgers, my academic prestige never moved up or down from 3 stars. I probably graduated about 15-18 guys each season, and never lost anyone to the pros early. After the first year with my created school, my academic prestige dropped from 6 stars to 5 stars. I did not have many seniors on the roster, so only about 12-15 graduated, which may have caused the drop.

That would really suck if all it had to do with was how many seniors you have on the team. I really hope that isn't the case.
But it could be the case because it's definetly not graduation rate. I had a 100% graduation rate with no transfers and still went from being a 4 star academic prestige team to being a 2 star in only 2 years.

Wow that's really stupid. Perhaps academic infractions during the season? For instance, are you guys getting players cheating on tests, blowing off class, etc.?
