Have you checked if there was actually a roof?

Dome might just mean dome shaped, not that there's an actual dome.

I've noticed this too, in the two times I've played in a created dome. The rain doesn't appear to affect the game the way it normally does, though, in the sense that I've noticed less fumbles in the rainy dome than in an outdoor rainy game. I think it's just a random glitch that got overlooked.

There's way too many glitches that got overlooked in my opinion. I think this was one of EA's sloppiest releases.
