How many people think EA will finally fix mario running in 07? I heard its still in madden 06. You'd think they could come up with a better system...

Hopefully they revamp the entire friggen gameplay for everything. I'd love to see the ESPN 2K5 running-up-the-middle animations in EA games in the Nex Gen systems.

Agreed. The running game in the 2K series was beautiful. And the animations were gorgeous.

Bouncing off tacklers is mario running...or bouncing of OLineman....or coming to a complete stop when you hit an olineman.

I think "mario running" has to do with the game engine and they should be building a brand new engine for 07 as they are with madden...

Also, "Mario Running" is when you are stuck behind your linemen and you keep running straight ahead without going anywhere.

Many times you can jump and jump and not move. My roommate jumped 6 times on a goalline play then finally jumped into the endzone.
