Angry The CPU just cheated me.

I am on All America level playing in the Orange bowl as Oregon State against Miami, the score is 39-35 with me leading in the 4th quarter.
Miami had the ball in 4th and 5 situation on 30 yard. My defense was prepared to make one more stop and the game is over.
Out of the blue, one of my OL automatically jump offside without me even controller him. 5 yard penalty for 1st and goal. After three play Miami scored a touchdown with no time left. I lost the bowl game by 42 to 39. I was so pissed off.

Yeah because nothing like that ever happens in a real life game!
No way a college player would get nervous and jump off sides in a big bowl
game with time running out!!!
Oh wait that did happen just 3 or 4 years ago in the national title game.
But lets change blame ea for cheating!

Wouldn't it be 1st and 10 at the 25?

Oh, and while it may suck, that does happen in real life. Sorry, but it is realistic.

Re: The CPU just cheated me.

I have a possibly worse story. I was Ohio. I played 4 years with them in Race for the Heisman. The team went 11-1 the first two years then undefeated twice but never made it to the BCS. So with my RFTH player now the coach of the team in a converted dynasty I could change the schedule. I played the #1, #2, #3, & #4 preseason ranked teams in the first four weeks. My team was pretty good but not great after the computer recruiting for me four years. I had a B+ overall. I blew away all 4 of those ranked teams by about 60 points. So when I played overall A+ USC in the national title game I expected to blow them out. I fumbled ball over a bunch of times and fell behind. I was down by three and in FG range late in the game and running the ball trying to score with as little time as possible. I scored a TD on a 2 yard TD run with :30 seconds left. I kicked off and on the second or third play of USC's drive they threw a Hail Mary pass. One of my DB's got under it and... deflected the ball right over to a USC WR for about a 60 yard game winning TD on the last play. I was rolling on the floor laughing trying to imagine if that happened in real life.

Then I did get ticked off. My greatest game score was only about 1500 which was less than a few OT regular season games that some of my buddies had played n the system. I was expecting a greatest game score of about 4000 and wound up with the #3 or #4 greatest game on that XBOX.
