What do I have to do to win the Heisman?

My RB had 4,000 All-Purpose yards, 33 total touchdowns, was a 1st team AA,

1st team Pac 10, won the Walker, the Maxwell, AND the returner of the year. He

lost the Heisman by 1,400 VOTES. The guy who won it had 3700 Passing yards,

45 TDs, 12 INTS, -86 Rushing yds. was 2nd team AA, and 1st team All ACC. My

team went 11-1 and was #1 and his team went 10-2 and was #10. What more

can I do to win the Heisman?

The game only cares about touchdowns.

If you have a RB with 4,000 yards and 33 TD, and another with 200 yards and 35 TD, more often than not, the second guy will win the Heisman (and all the other awards).

Same goes for cross-positional comparisons. I guess the CPU was more impressed with the QB's TD totals than your RB's.

It's about more than just TD's. They don't really care about return yards though, so your all-purpose yards are obviously inflated by those.

He still had over 2,000 rushing yards and 27 rushing TD's. I think that should be enough. He was also a senoir and the other guy was a junior.

I beleive that touchdown theory.

On my RFTH I had 34 TD's and 2 (!) interceptions. The other guy had 39 and 12 (!!).

Another thing is, it says "perform well in big games to help your chances" or something.
Doubt it, in that season. I was with FSU and against Miami, Florida, and Maryland (ranked 8th) I had a total of 14 TD and ZERO interceptions. So I doubt the big game thing matters much either.

Was your guy always first in the rankings for heisman trophy? Because i have never managed to win the heisman if my guy is ranked first or for that matter never seen the first ranked guy win it for some reason.

I am talking about dynasty in case that makes a difference compared to race for the heisman mode.
