Re: Vince Young

He'll stay, and why shouldn't he be unstoppable? He pretty much is in real life. What a great year!

Absolutely outstanding performance. Easily the greatest performance from a QB in college I have ever seen. He should now declare for the NFL draft, where he will go at the worst #2 overall (Leinart's arm strength has been questioned by several scouts). And since HOU needs to start over, and Young is from UT, it would reenergize that franchise.

Agreed no reason to stay. He should declare now he has all the intangibles to be the top pick!

He wont be the top pick. even if the top pick were a QB, Leinert would go first. Yes Young won a championship, yes he owned USC but hes not yet a totally complete QB, he is a Michael Vick who can actually complete a pass. Leinert has been and is the Top QB in the draft. Hes got more intangibles than Young. Having deceptive speed running the ball is not an intagible. Young's mind for the game still has to mature some just like 99% of other college players going into the draft. Leinart is almost like a pro QB whos been playing college ball. Not to take anything away from Vince...but hes still would be the number 2 QB in the draft.

Honestly, I think Vince is just as ready for the pros. You have Young, who had the #3 passer rating in college football (compared to Leinart's 8th). Leinart had more yards, and more touchdowns but he also had a more complete offensive team. Honestly, there is a case for either of them to be #1, but to me the pick would be VY. How can you go wrong with a mobile quarterback that can pass as well.

And what is wrong with a Mike Vick that can complete a pass? I thought that was the only knock on him!
