Re: Madden or Ncaa ?
Well, I am someone who plays College season...import college players....play Madden season....repeat.
It is fun to see some of the players careers play out. Like my WR, #1 in the nation, broke a few records for us Longhorns, basically one of the best WRs I have had in all time.
He won a game for us...National Championship... one play left...4th down and I am about on my 10 yard line. I hail the ball to about the 50 Yard line, and he just burns the defense and has great hands to get the TD.
The browns draft him and...plop. Doesn't so anything. Starts for about two years and then gets benched for the rest of his career.
I also was the Texans, drafted Vince Young. Won 3 superbowls with him (Passing and Running...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!) and then gets a career ending injury and I am still looking for another great QB.
But if you had to choose...I'd say NCAA. The feel is better, but I like Madden's gameplay better. QB vision has grown on me and the running game I feel is more realistic. I mean it is too easy to just run on the outside, cut the corner, and pick up 15 on NCAA with a good RB. In Madden, I am happy to have Domanick Davis avearge 4-5 yards.
But I would get both and do the import thing. I will never forget the greatest WR that the Browns never used...
