I´m playing ncaa 2006 on xbox and i was wondering if someone find a temporary fix for the unrealistic amount of drops ?.

I tried with QB acc and WR catching at 99 with no luck.

any comments will be appreciated.

There is no real fix. Accurary and WR catching sliders have basically nothing to do with it. It's just how the game works. If you notice, they're not even really drops....it's more of the ball just bouncing off a guy who is running around. There is no catch animation.

The drops are annoying but its a part of the game. I just cant stand it when in a big game, the computers wide outs always seem to catch the long bombs with 5 defenders in the area whereas your guy drops a wide open pass in the end zone on 3 down.

You know, I guess I am lucky because I have never had the drop problems.

Try WR Catching Assist. You will have to turn all the other assists (Pass, Run, Kicking, Penalties, etc).

This has helped me a little bit. Also, there may be some truth to the HFA turned off as well.

Good luck. I hope the short pass drops and long bomb miracle lobs are reduced somewhat in 2007.

Yeah I had this problem on Xbox for awhile. But a few months ago I bought a dreambox controller converter, so now I use my PS2 controller with analog on for the Xbox and I haven't had a problem since. It plays alot like the PS2 version now, it also enhances the CPU passing game. If you want to check it out go to midwestgames.com, thats where I got mine.

Yeah it sucks when your WR can't catch a wide open over the middle catch not because of the QB overthrowing him...but because he drops it 8 out 10 times.

Yet, hail mary it and he'll make the most amazing 50yd catch with about the whole secondary covering him.
