I kinda wish they had created schools, cause I like to play out things with mine like creating a new conference with new teams, but that's OK.

I agree that 30 fps is a bummer, but I still think Madden 360's choppiness was more a product of poor animation transitions and the less forgiving gameplay.

I think there is still a good chance they touched those things up in this years NCAA. Besides, I'd rather have a consistent 30 fps than a laggy 60 like they've had in past NCAA's.

Don't consider it a game killer just yet...

I know the 30fp seconds sounds bad. But the vids show that this game moves fast. And I agree I wouldn't consider it a game killer at this point.

I don't think FPS really has much to do with responsiveness at all. 30 vs 60 may be visibly different, but 30 is not going to interfere with how quickly a control action is rendered - I mean, 30 refreshes in one second is still plenty fast for that.

Right now i'm playing Tomb Raider Legend on my PC with "Next Gen Content" turned on, which produces a frame rate of, probably at best, 30-40fps, but it can dip to semi jittering levels during intense scenes. Even during these intense scenes I notice no different in responsiveness. I think you'd have to go to something like 10fps to start noticing that.

The biggest issue, IMO, is keeping a stable and consistent frame rate. It isn't hard to adjust to something like a stable 30fps, but it's really annoying playing a game that varies from 20-50fps etc. If NCAA stays at 30fps constantly during all conditions, it will be fine.

That stat tracking is INCREDIBLE. I'm a stat nut, so this will be nothing short of amazing!

Yeah, being able to track every single stat for the year sounds nice. It'll make for good dynasties.

I can't remember which past madden and NCAA games have been 30 FPS? Anyone have any idea's on this.

I have calmed down since last night over this news, I have realized I have never been dissapointed in a NCAA title going back to Bill Walsh.
