Just my opinion though
I doubt it. Just look at utah and LA techs real life stadiums. they kinda represent the generic. I almost gurantee thats about as far as they will go with these stadiums.

That was my original hope... but now, after the info we got from E3, I don't think they'll have them all done in time. They basically have all the data (from the guy who took pictures at all 119 stadiums), but will not have enough time to translate that data into all 119 stadiums this year. As been said, they'll have about 70 full stadiums and the rest will be complete by NCAA 08. If they do finish them, which I doubt, it will be a very pleasant suprise.

Re: The rest of the stadiums

Im sure Wisconsin will have their stadium. Maybe it just wasnt done in time.

The only guideline I saw from EA was that they wanted the "high profile" stadiums. They couldnt make them all, but I think its fair if they at least wanted every conference to have at least 1 team's stadium done. Hence, BYU, although not a ranked powerhouse, still deserves a stadium. Add to that the fact that the ESPN guys rave about doing games in Provo every year. You could argue Utah deserves it over BYU, but again, they couldnt make them all this year.

My personal hope is that they will be generous enough to allow 3-4 downloadables btwn ship date and 08.

Um...Have you ever been to Utah's stadium? Because the whole Utah experience (stadium + backdrop) is anything but generic. Herbstreit called it the prettiest place to play football in the country.

I agree, it's a very picturesque setting.

Nstod,
I think what he meant was the generic stadium they gave Utah is pretty close to the real thing, except for the detached south endzone. I was hoping for both Utah and Utah State in this year's game, but I guess it will be next year. I'm BYURUS on the cougarboard, by the way.

Ah, cool, cougarblue. I'm sticking with the current gen for 07, anyway, so it's no skin off my hide. Hopefully by 08, everything will be in.
