I still play it pretty often, just a few slider changes and it's nearly perfect.

I play about 3 to 5 games a week online and never have any problems with drops at all. I never play CPU now but I remember when I first got the game I didn't notice it had much problem with drops at all.

I really like the PS2 version. I still play a couple of games a week, though Oblivion has been seriously cutting into my time.

The points above about sliders and timing are absolutely right.

i've actually had some really good passing days on the ps2- i'm talking 75% comp. on heisman w/ no sliders. i've completed over 60% for the season a couple of times. it took me a good while, but I actually found some semblence of a short passing game, at least vs man coverage (u can cancel church on throwing short vs zone though).

Agreed. This is the best overall football game that I have played, especially if you adjust the sliders right. Very Very fun game.

I would agree. And because there is still quite a bit of room for improvement in certain areas like the deep ball and especially the short passing game, there is great hope for 2007.

Not so fast my friend...remember 2004 was great but 2005 was a big letdown. With that being said I do expect that 2007 will be da bomb.
