The game is not gold, so please keep that in mind. The EA rep at the booth indicated that they have 5 more weeks of work to do before shipping.

5 weeks after E3 ( when this was said) Is June 21st. Then you give them 2 weeks to produce the actual games...That brings us to the first week of july.

Now...are they going to waste 18 days in July to do heavy marketing, cause technically if the EA rep was telling the truth. We could have the game by the first week in July.

And also the guy who made the NLgaming article says he cant wait for July 4th

From what I've learned about any video game is that once it's finished it takes about a month at the earliest to get the copies and manuals produced packaged and ready to ship.I think if the EA staff finishes the game this weekend they will be working at a fast pace for the next four weeks just to make the July 18th release.JMO

Yeah...I wouldn't get your hopes up...we'll get it when they want us to get it(Unless they're dumb again, send out the boxes weeks earlier than the release date, and stores start selling them again)

That's not true at all. Games go gold 2-3 weeks before release. And the staff just makes the origonal manual and game disk, they don't manufacture the other copies.

If it does come out July 18th, and it's a near sure bet cuz the web site says that for EA, then it'll be the latest that it's ever come out. For the past 4 years it's been the 2nd week of July, not the 3rd.

Not true. NCAA 2003 came out on July 20th and 2002 came out on the 23rd
