I was just at my local Gamestop, and you know the board they have up where it has upcoming games listed? "NCAA Football - July 4th - Preorder Now". I was shocked. I went up to the counter and casually asked the worker when NCAA Football 07 would be released. He said he thought July 18th but then he checked the board and said it must be July 4th.

However, Gamestop's website and EA's website both still say July 18th. I'm pretty confused, and know it's unlikely that it actually will get to us on the 4th, but maybe it's shipping the 3rd, and a worker got confused? I don't know...

All I know is, good news.

The worker is confused....its the 18th.

That's what I thought. But where would the date of July 4th come from? I'm thinking they maybe saw the date listed as July 3rd - ships (but is street dated beyond that), so they, logically, put release at July 4th.

I know, it's unlikely. But I'm sooooo pumped for this game; I really want to believe this.

the July 4th date comes from every magazine that has previewed the game, I just picked up Game informer to see the NCAA 07 article and it says July 4th.
