Late Hits?

When are they going to add this to the game? This is a big part of football. Not only penalty wise (the extra 15 yards) but emotionally. I dont know about you but when I played and someone on the other team hit my QB out of bounds it got me ticked and I played a lot more aggressively...

It'd be sweet to see this is NCAA 08 maybe?

Re: Late Hits?

That would be kinda cool to see. They do already have roughing the passer, of course, but late hits certainly are one of aspect of the real game. It would be nice to see, no doubt.

Re: Late Hits?

Madden 64 had it, so there is no way a game on the ps2/360 could have it.

Re: Late Hits?

It was on the EA NCAA College Football games '95 and '96 for Gensis. I loved it.

They also had chain measurements. I can't believe those two things have not been brought back after almost 10 years.

Re: Late Hits?

I would much rather see chain measurements than stupid cheerleader animations. Bring back the ambulance that would leave without you

LOL i remember a few of those times. Most of it was when i laid out someone on the other team and the ambulance would show up for a few seconds, then leave without the person that got hurt. I nearly cried with laughter after it happened the second time.

I didn't. I had a habit (and probaly still do) of hitting the tackle button multiple times. I would also get called for late hits contantly when a player went out of bounds. It happened way too much.

Thumbs up Re: Late Hits?

They could set it up where it would have to be pretty damn obvious it was a late hit.It would be cool to have that back.
