But hows it gonna happen. EA will never use anything that THEY didn't create, and 2K seems to poor to make the jump.

It's not. It's minimal to say the least, and they don't go into much detail at all.

Even though by later standards NCAA 2002 has many flaws, at the time I can only remember how blown away by it I was. It didn't have that sense of not being the complete package. I haven't been blown away by a sports game since then.

I know that LucasArts is using it. I don't know what their financial situation is like, but all it takes is a catalyst, and I think if LucasArts plays it right, Indiana Jones will get a lot of attention for its combat/physics engine, and maybe that's all that's needed to give companies the hint.
