i saw an article a while ago about how sony did bc the right way compared to microsoft, they put the PS1 chip inside the ps2 for instant BC. it would have saved M$ a lot of time just to do taht, and everyone would be happy

They couldn't since they switched from Nvidia chip to a ATI chip.

Why would the MS devs make th 360 backwards compatible if the system has an equivalent for the 360?? Now that doesn't make sense money wise and doesn't sell games.

I will however agree that the xbox version of Madden was totally better than the 360 version which was rushed and buggy.

It boils down to making money and commen sense if Im M.S. and EA why in the hell would I make a current gen game backwards compatible.

This is one of the main reasons I have held off buying the 360 and am looking at the PS3.
