Is it just me or are the overalls really high? I am an Arizona State fan and I cant believe how high they have some of the ASU players rated...guys that have been injured or done nothing their whole careers are rated 91 overall. Kinda silly.

I thought it was crazy that this guy as a 2nd string SO was rated a 90, that is one good backup.

12 Rudy Carpenter 6-2/204 SO (ovr 90)

Re: 5 team preview by DT

Maybe it is because you guys don't understand the implications of the ratings.

This way, there are haves and have nots. It's going to be a lot harder to take Idaho to the promised land by beating Oklahoma at the beginning of the season because your team is going to be so much worse. It makes it so there is seperation. Arizona State had a lot of 90 players while Air Force did not. Think if Air Force played the entire season in the Pac-10.

Hell...from the looks of things, 90 looks to be the new 85.

I don't think he is talking about Carpenter.

He is a bonafide stud. He was sick last year, 17 TD's only 2 INTS when Keller was out. I am pretty sure IGN had him in their top 25 qb ratings also.

man, Alabama only has 13 players at 85 or better. And for all of the Bama fans that had 4 or 5 tailbacks listed at 80 or better in ratings predictions, think again, you have only one (Darby). Its going to be tough to run with them as well because of the two guards being 82 and 81 and the entire line averaging out to an 84.

Also, why are some of the ratings different from what we already know? IGN's Top 25s had Prothro has a 90 and Simpson has a 95, yet on these rosters they are 88 and 95.
