I don't play online simply because I don't have that much time to play anymore so I just stick to dynasty which I love. Furthermore, I don't have any friends or relatives that own the game. In case you didn't know, Canada is hockey crazy and not NCAA football crazy.

Can you actually create a league online and have standings, playoffs, stat tracking, etc? thats pretty cool, would love to play people on OS, even though I'm HORRIBLE at online gaming hehe

I'm not too good either. I think there are sites that manage those numbers but I'm not sure.
