When PS2 and Xbox came out, how long did they make NCAA for PS1 before they dropped the system?

I think it was dropped immediately. I just hope they make a game next year to give me an option if I don't get a next gen system yet.

It was dropped immediately; my guess would be that current-gen would be dropped when the PS3 comes out. Of course, I have no idea.

Yes they stopped making PS1 NCAA's after NCAA 2001, for Madden they kept going through Madden 2005. The XBOX/PS2 systems would be extremely fortunate if they saw an NCAA 2008. I think its unlikely.

For what it's worth, I don't think NCAA sold nearly as well on PS1 as it did on PS2 and XBox... maybe they'll make another one on current gen, who knows.

I wonder how the numbers will stack up this year between Xbox and Xbox 360?

What do you guys think? Do enough people own the 360 to have more of those copies sold than the standard Xbox?

I would be amazed if the 360 came close to current gen sales. There are just so many more people still playing with current gen consoles. Its about a 10:1 ratio for current gen hardware out there vs. the 360. Heck, Arena Football sold 350,000 copies. The PS2 has been outselling the 360 this year due its price drop.

On OS, a poll showed that a significant number of people were 360 users. They were clearly the majority but we are a hardcore sight. Mom and pop will still be stocking Johnny's PS2/XBox catalog with current gen this year imo.
