I have both the 360 and ps2 versions. Right now I like them both about the same but I think I'll end up playing the 360 version more. Alright, heres the conclusion I have came to.

Multiplayer anything go current gen.

Single Player go 360.

I'm going to get the PS2 version later aswel. Slight upgrades on the PS2 version is enough for me because I loved 06 on PS2.

I just love the gameplay. I hate that the CAS isn't in and the 1-AA teams aren't in, but the gameplay overshadows it. The jump the snap feature is awesome. Its even better to watch in slow mo replay as it looks as fluid and normal like in a real game.

I completely agree with you, I've played both, and while there is nothing wrong with current-gen it just felt a bit stale to me. I felt like I've been playing that game for the past five years. I was very worried about the 360 version and even questioning my decision to get a 360 as there weren't really any titles out there (especially sports) that made it justifiable in my mind. I cannot stress how many fears were cast aside after playing 07 on the 360 for the past four days, at this point it is the best sports game I've ever played and a reason to buy a 360. If NCAA 07 is any indication of what to expect from future football games then I will be putting many hours of play in.
