Can someone post a list of the Div. 1-A Coaches

Someone had a list of them last year and I was wondering if a list could be compiled again this year for dynasty junkies (of course that's assuming you can name the coaches in Dynasty on 360 for all the teams).

Any help!?

prob been answered but i cant find it, can you edit the coachs names on the basic roster file? just for quick play purpose..that way when you load up dynastys you dont have to keep renaming all the coaches each time you start over..

Re: Can someone post a list of the Div. 1-A Coaches

OK....so far it looks like you will have to start a dynasty, and then go into the coaches section. There - it gives you a list of all the coaches, sorted by their names. Since all of the coaches are named "Pitt coach" "Purdue Coach" "Notre Dame Coach", etc. - they are all currently in alphabetical order by school. You can select each coach though and change his name and appearance. They are all stock images though - which means that you can't go in and play around with Penn State's coach and make him look like JoePa. You pick one of three body types (Normal, Muscle and Heavy) and then there are white and black 3D faces under each type. Each body type has 20 or 30 3D faces. No one really looked like JoePa or Charlie Weiss. But - there is one who looks like Pitt's Dave Wannstedt.

If anyone has figured out how to edit these before you start a dynasty file- please break it down for us. Otherwise - this is something you will have to edit every time you start a new dynasty - which is kind of annoying. If this is the only way, I will probably only edit 20 or 30 coaches and just leave the rest generic. Luckily, you can edit them any time in dynasty though, so this gives you some flexibility, and doesn't make it that you can only do this when starting a dynasty - which would realy be annoying.

It looks to me like it works just like it did in 2006. You can only edit them in a Dynasty, which means, like you said, you have to edit them for each new dynasty you start. For 2008, they really need to tie the coaches in with the roster file, like College Hoops does.

Excellent information on the names! Has anyone taken the time to change the appearances of the coaches (and list what their attributes are)?

Thanks again!
