Just picked the game up at lunch so I could read a bit more on some of the new features but the instruction manual is terrible for the PS2. Its black and white and a whopping 8.5 pages. The french instruction manual was colour so go figure.

Anyway, there are bunch of things they do not mention in the manual that I was wondering if any PS2 owner could clear up:

1. R stick on offense: Not mentioned in the manual but I have the read the jukes are still mapped here and I'm assuming that includes the back juke. What does pushing up on it do? It used to cover up the ball.

2. R stick on defense: Except for big hit, this is not mentioned on the defensive line. I loved using it last year on the d-line. Please someone tell me it still works there.

3. Precision passing: this is a complete omission. Do you simply use the Left analog stick to lead a guy after throwing? Didn't play Madden much last year and can't remember.

4. Formation audibles: the manual says there are 5 preset audibles. I thought we got formation specific audibles or was that just the 360?

Crappy is not the word for it. I got the 360 version at lunch and it has 7 (barely) pages of info. In an age where game makers routinely put out full color manuals this is terrible, especially for somthin as complex as football. EA puts out smaller and smaller manuals every year.

It's not just NCAA - it's all games. they don't spend much time on instruction manuals anymore. They put the bulk of the instructions in the actual game menus

yep the Xbox one is complete crap. I wanted to know about precision passing and jumping over the pile. Neither was mentioned in the manual.

2k sports puts detailed instructions on the disc.

For this game, however, all I see are the tutorials which don't even come close to covering everything.
