You didn't have TV Pong as a kid?. That was my first console.

If you scroll down the right side of the page, I owned the Sears TV Pong , bottom picture.

Actually-Iv'e played tons of pong, just never owned it. The first game I "owned" was Pitfall. I also remember logging in quite a few hours on asteroids at the arcade and loving it.

35
4 kids (8,3,21 months, 6 months)

My biggest problem now is that my wife is addicted to playing HexicHD on the Live Arcade. She actually asked me to get her a 360 of her own

I don't ever see a time in my life when I stop playing games. I think the old stigma of videogames being "kid's stuff" has gone out the window a while back now.

Wow, some of you have a bunch of kids ! Only a 2 year old for me. I just give him the controller that is not in use and he thinks he's playing NCAA.

39, 1 child (10 years old) 1 wife, 1 serious addiction to my 360 and NCAA 2007. Have always been a sports videogame fanatic since the days of Electric Football!! I don't see myself ever giving up sports videogaming and my fellow old heads shouldn't either! Remember, WE BUILT THIS GENRE!

Re: My Xbox has NEW Life . . .

I'm only 24, engaged, but am the legal guardian to my 15 and 10 year old brothers (recent family issues), and I see myself in the same boat you guys are in...older and with a HUGE love for video games. I don't see it changing, and the fiancee knows it. At least she enjoys games as well...still doesn't like that I spend the money on EVERY new system. Oh well, like a previous poster mentioned, there's worse things to have as a "hobby".
