is the slowdown on ps2 fixed?

sorry if this has been asked, i searched but didnt come across it. anyone notice any slowdown on ps2 in this years version?

there was no slowdown on the PS2 last year

maybe the xbox???

i wish i could agree with you on that one. mine definetly goes through it at certain spots, namely when there seems to be alot going on, i.e. running through a pack of defenders, or near the goal line. maybe my ps2 just needs a real good cleaning.

There was slowdown online atleast when inside your the opponent had the ball inside there own 20 with on a kickoff or having to run plays that deep. I have a brand new ps2 aswell, and it seems to be fixed.

I remember a bunch of threads discussing little hiccups or slowdowns in the gameplay for ps2. May have been more prevalent in old PS2s, heat related, or just bad luck.

I know I experienced it...wasn't bad, but at least a couple times a game things would briefly slow down. My ps2 is going on 4 years old so that may have contributed.
