Huge In-Game Rating Changes

I'm not sure if anyone else has seen this, but the last game I played I came back from half time and almost my whole offensive unit had taken a huge hit. We're talking 30-45 point decrease to their overall rating, except for my QB....The CPU defense also had this happen to most of their defense....ALso the game was played on AA, PS2

Anyone else seen this phenomenon

I did. I was Nebraska (XBox, AA)... Zac Taylor after the 1st qtr. was -44 and Marlon Lucky was -32! I think it happens when you are away and the home team gets momentum off your mistake b/c Taylor threw a pick and Lucky fumbled and the CPU took it to the house. It is very weird though...

Maybe a combination of the Momentum meter and Home Field Advantage.

But I was killing them at their place and it happened to both teams so it really doesn't make much sense

Re: Huge In-Game Rating Changes

It would be nice if EA would put a small number next to the player in the formation preview on the playcall screen.

In other words, where I see the colored circle with my HB's jersey number, put a small +10, -5, etc. in subscript underneath it.

That way, when I trigger through my formation subs I can quickly idenitfy players who need to sit.

Yeah, this belongs in the wishlist thread...

Re: Huge In-Game Rating Changes

It has happened to me. I was called for a fumble, successfully overturned the call after a challenge, and both teams went down by -30 or so to their overall ratings, but it only affected teh players on the field

Very weird

I haven't seen this, but I am playing on the 360. Has anyone in this thread seen it there? And those of you that have seen this in any version did you notice it really affecting the play?
