Why don't my MLB and FS feel like getting lined up?

Depends on the team, situation, or individual player really. When I played it was a couple of yards maybe, but we ran some 3-4/6-2 hybrid.

I believe it's something like 3 to 5 yards. Well, it depends what defensive formation you're using.

Coverage audible (a button) then push left on the stick to show blitz. Puts safties in the box.

right when you break the huddle press coverage audible and press to the right and then do again and they will line up perfect then you can make your changes. only takes a sec and they won't even be to the line when you get it done. sucks but at least you get a normal look to start with.

Most teams have their MLB in the 4-3 no less than 4 yards off the ball in their base alignment. I have not seen a team or talked to any coaches who have their Middle backer hugging the line tighter than that. Same thing with 3-4, 335 , 4-2-5. I played in a 4-4, 3-4 and 4-3 and never hugged the line like that. It makes it easier for the lineman to get me. Why would I line up like that? On 3rd and short in NCAA they have the MLB hugging the DT or NT's a$$ This should not be. Makes him easy to block.
