Re: Dear EA...

I knew that the patches wouldn't be changed when a team switched conferences. I was doing a replay with a friend and noticed the SEC patch on Kentucky's uniform and I told him, "I bet you anything that when you change conferences the patches remain the same".

As for switching conferences I really wish EA would go the extra mile and allow teams to be added to conferences without replacing others. Especially in the case of the Big Ten Conference. I'm always Notre Dame and I would join the Big Ten if I would be the 12th team. The conference could be split into two divisions and have a conference championship game.

Re: Dear EA...

I honestly don't think that copyrights have anything to do with it. I just think EA didn't think about this happening.

I disagree. I think the copyright reason is the right one. It's the same reason that whenever you modify a uniform in Madden, you lose the logo on it (unless you pull some trick). They have a license to use the uniforms as they are in real life, not to get creative with them.

Well it wouldn't be called the Big Ten anymore, would it?

Maybe the Big Ten Plus Little Two?

It's one of those things you can't blame EA for. I'm sure that one of the developers mentioned removing the patches from the uniform altogether, but was denied by the legal team.

Problem with your logic is that the Big 10 currently has 11 teams and is still called the Big 10.

I like it the way it is. I replaced Vanderbilt and they can go to C-USA and compete. I replaced one of the weakest team in the league. I would've preferred to be in the SEC West. I'm 4-0 (2-0) in the SEC so far. I've only beat Kentucky and South Carolina. The SC game was tough though. I still have to play Georgia, Florida, and Tennesse. Eeeeeeeeek!
