Does anyone use any recruiting rules? If so, what are they?

Can someone give me some clues as to what guys are doing during recruiting? For the past several years folks have been saying that recruiting was entirely too easy. What am I not doing because I've not seen this at all?

Ive used Northwestern and Western Michigan in my dynasties.

The best of the two recruiting classes was 64th in the Nation with NW. I got one 4* recruit (in season)

If I play as NW or say Vandy or any other 5-6* Academic Prestige school, as soon as recruit says that Academics don't matter, I stop recruiting that player, as to "upkeep the academic profile"

For my dynasty:

-Academics and behavior are irrelevent.

-Only go after recruits in pipeline states during inseason.

-If I ever cut someone from my team, recreate them as a JuCo prospect the next year.

-Never sign over 70 players to my team.

-Don't recruit positions that I already have enough talent at.

I always only recruit interested players and pipeline players.

That's a really cool idea, never thought of it. Would also have some utility for the guys the game leaves out; like you can never fit the entire incoming class onto the roster, so make a bunch of them redshirt freshmen JuCo's in the offseason. Again, really cool idea, man. Thanks.
